I run a 7/16ths stud on my 331W that has a solid roller and Vic jr heads. Tried the stud girdle and saw nothing from it. Spring life , stud deflection etc. nothing changed. .700 lift but I do run ti valves , retainers , and locks. Isky springs are phenominal.

Ok, sounds good. I won't sweat the girdle in this case, then I don't have to worry about screwing up the sixties look. I was already leaning that way after what Brent said, thanks for chiming in.
