Thanks Matt--I've been watching your progress, keep up the good work!! The only thing I have going for me at the moment is, I tore mine completely apart so it makes it easier to get to everything and do those repairs. Sometimes I wonder if I'll ever get it back together again.

This project is on hold for about 6 months while I heal up from rotator cuff surgery. Not something I would suggest for a vacation but if you need it, the sooner you do it the better. I can work with my left hand some but it is too tempting to help with my right and that is a big no-no at this point in the healing process.

Before and after paint shop. I found some very honest and skilled guys to do the paint. It's too bad there are so many losers in that field. I can't believe all the stories I have heard since I got bent over by my first paint crook.

Looks killer man. I'll 2nd the value of an honest painter. I've painted before and will agree with the saying that it's 90% prep work, with about 10% going into actual laying paint. So if they're going to screw you, it'll be done in the 90% somewhere and you'll likely find that out after the fact.

Kind of like engine building, if the average joe knew how much checking and inspection goes on before assembly, they'd be amazed.

It's not just ordering parts out of a catalog and slapping it together.

Thanks guys. I need to get the thing put back together one of these days. Currently in the process of moving so I haven't even touched the car since paint.
