Do my own thing. I always buy bare heads.

I wish someone would come up with a "budget" Cleveland-only rocker arm though. These universal BBF/Cleveland/BBC rocker arms really bite my hindend. It stinks that you have to pay $600 to get a decent rocker arm with the correct geometry.

Yeah ok.
Kinda looks the same way that CHI set them up . Shithouse IMHO.

If you really want to have a whinge you should travel down under and see what we have to pay for parts.

For example , I'm looking at getting a set of KB 177 Pistons from a local supplier.
Price is around $550 plus freight so it'll be close to $600

Had a look at US based sites and the price is around $270!

Thought about buying a set from the US but the freight is ridiculous.

Send me an email....I can probably get them there cheaper than that....unless of course you're dogging the way I set my heads up, then it's 3X as much.... :D

I can get them to you for $397 shipped if you let me package them in a smaller box.

What about these rocker arms? I put these on mine and to me i think I spent enough money that Comp should have made them with the correct geometry for a Cleveland. Tey have gone down $20 since 2013.

You gotta watch real close on those as the pushrod will hit the rocker arm at full lift. Doesn't take much lift either.

Thanks Brent.
I did the math and converting $397 US to our Ozzy dollar equates to $562 . And now we have to contend with GST and import duties so it's probably still cheaper to buy local.
Wasn't always the way though. The Ozzy dollar has dropped a long way since its peak in 2012 and it certainly has been reflected in the cost of things. Thanks anyway.

I see the way CHI set up their heads for Hyd rollers and it's just rubbish. They always lose control of the valvetrain before 6000 rpm. Client ends up paying twice to get the heads set up correctly.
