hey all, redoing a 351c out of the wifes 69 mach 1. i know it not original. looking for a few answers. is it a good idea to put .030 holes in the front galley plugs to oil the chain and distributor gear? i have read a good bit on this topic and would like opinions. are the front plugs a different thread then the rear plugs? where can i buy the plugs with the holes in them?
thanx

No need to do that. They get plenty of oil.

The plugs are special in that they are beveled. If you use a regular pipe plug it will block the oil feed.

I think that they are really a J thread plug instead of pipe thread. If a pipe plug is used sometimes it'll stick out too far and make it impossible to install the distributor.
