Greetings all...my earlier post spoke of my c4 bell housing dilemma. Short story; just picked up a 351w starter test bracket from Wild Horses for my 351c build. They mostly just deal with Windsor stuff since It's a Bronco site. It's basically just a partial piece of a bell housing that bolts to the block. Gotta say it looks promising. The company states that it's for bumping the engine over but I don't see a problem with starting. Looks really beefy to take the torque of a starter. Has anyone here ever used one? Tired of wasting time on the correct housing just for a test start... Tx.....

Interesting - personally never saw a need for such a thing. See what you're talking about, useless for me as I only run case fill, small bell 157 tooth equipment. Including on the Powerglide.
