Done and dusted!
We had to dyno this beast on two occasions because of the issues we had on the first day. Pipes not fitting the dyno fixture, ignition woes and finally a vac pump failure saw us pull the engine . We also saw some evidence of glitter in the oil which prompted a full tear down again .
No evidence was found of anything untoward in that department so we've put it down to the fact that the previously used pan still had some crap hiding in it that was missed from the 1/2 dozen or so times it was cleaned!
Ran it up Friday again and came up with
827hp @7300
645ft lbs @6200 and 662 if we started the pull @5800
240 psi cranking
118.5 VE
Should make for a fairly stout street /strip unit.

Been following this along Brad and Russ. Great work. Very impressive power. This will a monster on the street, poor tires. What was the conclusion of the vacuum pump and wet sump combo from peterson? I thought there something with that.

Hey Tim, the vac pump stopped working on the dyno so it was pulled apart and the hex drive between the oil ump and vac pump had sheared. Apparently the way we routed the hoses was incorrect so it was sorted for round 2 on the dyno. All good now.
We actually had the intake off again last week to look at oil flow going thru the top end . Sorted out some issues there as well.
