This is the return of the Lone Wolf, 434 ci of aluminum Cleveland. This is the first TrackBoss Performance Products 351 Cleveland block, made by Tim Meyer, and built by Steve Kinzel. This was originally dynoed a few years ago, and at that time he was running A3 heads, with the Tunnel Ram, and made 781 hp, Then he switched, and tried a set of the Blue Thunders, and made it to 796hp, with Q16. He wanted 800hp, so here we go. This TrackBoss 434 ci, has a 4 inch stroke, with 6 inch Correct Ford Offset Molnar rods. Racetec 13.5 pistons, and Blue Thunder 3.6 Cylinder heads. The heads are ported, and he is testing two intakes. A custom sheet metal intake, with twin Dominators, and an Edelbrock 2828 Single plane intake, that was originally for SC-1 heads, but has been modified to fit the Blue Thunder 3.6. along with spacers for a Dominator carb. He made a spacer to add 0.250 to the plenum of the TR, also used similar spacers under the Single Carb set up. The cam was made for 1.8 rockers, however, found more HP with changing back to 1.73 on the exhaust. With that improvement, a parts run was made, 100 miles to back to his shop, to get the remainder of push rods/rocker arms, to change the intake to 1.73. It was found that power was still not what it was, but improved. Steve said they ran out of Torco 112 oxy fuel. They started to make runs with C-12. Big loss of power. Took some evaluation, but came up with fuel difference. They located some VP 113 oxy, and the game was back on. The Lone wolf made 806.4 hp with the Tunnel Ram and twin Dominators, and with the Edelbrock intake, and single 1050 Dominator, made 804 hp. The big gains were the fuel and the vacuum pump. Steve is going to leave it in this configuration, as he is going to bracket race this beast, The Lone Wolf Returns.
