Damage report.

8 intake vales
1 piston (need to buy 4)
2 pushrods
1 Head repair.. Valve almost made it into the intake manifold.

What am I going to do beyond this shit?...... Some of this shit has been spread on me.

1. Real billet timing gears not those whining... it sounds like a super chargers gear things.
I will just move the gear over to this spot and it will work the best.. NOT.
2. Something that locks the rocker adj. So no one can say you left them loose...

When I have customers who won't leave stuff alone and break parts, then I say, "See ya."

That explains why it was so loud.
I accidentally installed a cam a tooth advanced one time. Yeah, a whole tooth. It was a late night rebuild trying to get ready for that weekend's race, I was tired and in a hurry. When I got it together and fired up, the first thing we noticed was how much LOUDER it was than the previous time. I mean, it had a sharp tone to it that actually hurt yours ears. We thought it was strange, but everything seemed fine, so we went to the track. Now mind you, I didnt actually change anything significant, so when the car ran almost 4 tenths slower than it had been running, we were baffled. It was consistent, and I went some rounds, the next week, same thing. I checked as much as I could check, and when I casually mentioned it to the machine shop, he replied "is the cam advanced too far?" He then suggested I run a compression check. I went home and did. Remember, this was just a rebuild with the same parts, so when the compression check came back at 275 psi instead of 210, it was painfully obvious where I had screwed up. I moved the cam back to where it should have been installed, and the car picked up the lost 4 tenths, and must have dropped about 395 decibals as well. LOL
