I dont run one and havent in 25 years. I did run a windage tray twice, in two separate motors. Both blew up in less than ten passes. I'm not saying the tray caused it or had anything to do with it, but both did come apart. Havent ran one since, never saw any need to either. I did buy one for the 408W I built, but I didnt like the way it fit so it's still sitting on the shelf.
