Out of the clear blue sky ( ah California sunshine) the receptionist asks me to come to the lobby to help a customer. When I open the door , there stands Tim(T) Meyer and family. This is a heck of a long way from Minnesota! They were out here to pick up an RV and take it back home , so they included a trip here to Racetec to see how pistons are made. I showed them how the shop ran and chatted for a while until the family had enough and wanted to "hit the beach". We are about 2.5 miles from the Pacific Ocean , something folks form the state of 2,000 lakes don't have.
A big THANK YOU to Tim for coming by and I welcome anyone in the Huntington Beach area to do so.
Randy

Actually we have over 10,000 lakes.
No sharks...
There was a sign at the beach about some shark sightings.
Had a great time at Racetec, got to meet Chad Decatu for the first time.
Thanks for the tour Randy.

RV made it home with only loosing the front AC cover on top.
Tow dolly was another story, lost the hub at Council Bluffs.
So I unloaded the car and sent my wife and daughter home and IO stayed and repaired the
tow dolly in the morning.

The FAT guy on the right is me. The gentleman on the left is a 30 year friend of mine and several year friend of Tim named Chad Decatur. Chad has an original 351C aluminum block and heads ( similar to the ones I have) and owns the former Lee Hunter Pro Stock Mercury Zephyr. Chad has several engines I've built for him including a 416" 351C with a factory tri power set up. ( XE manifold and special carbs). Chad and Tim arranged the "ambush" on me here at Racetec.
