A friend have a Windsor with 2V O/C heads he is about to dyno
and want me to recurve the duraspark. I dont know much about
the engine dont think he know that much either  What do they
like initial and total? I know it probably take some trial and error
not knowing much about the engine. But some numbers to start with
so he dont come to the dyno totaly unprepared
I can weld upp both the slots for him with a couple of degrees differance
so they have some wiggle room

It will depend a little on the compression ratio, but for best power on the dyno, I'd go somewhere around 38-40 degrees total. So something like 16-18° initial, with 12° mechanical advance.
