I have a brand new 351C high nickel Boss/Cobra Jet block for sale. 4 bolt main. Casting number D2AE-CA with a date code of 3B17. Bore is 4.0250". Stored properly since 1972. Great condition. Make offer

Well, it's not brand new with an almost 4.030" bore. Looks like it's been bored for a 4.030" finished bore size but has not been honed yet.

Factory bore size is 4.000".

Lot of Cleveland blocks have the D2AE-CA casting number. Some were 2 bolt and some 4 bolt mains. So you can't really tell anything
from the casting number. As for the high nickel claim I will wait to see the documentation.
It's a good block but it's not new because it's been bored as Brent pointed out.

It was bought new and bored to 30 over as it was going into a race car, but never put together. I cannot prove that it is high nickel.. Was told this by the person I bought it from who I have no reason to doubt because he knows his FORD engines, so we will just have to assume that it is a regular block for now and forget about the high nickel comment... But the block is clearly new and has never been put together...
