Just replaced the head gasket on the drivers side. The motor idles pretty good but has a backfire when I rev it up or keep it steady around 3500. I've replaced the plugs and it has new wires. I checked the intake for leaks by spraying carb cleaner around it and found nothing. Ive checked the firing order of the wires and they all go to the right cylinder. Where do I need t look now?

Thanks
Wade

After running it even for a minute (to build fuel pressure) shut it off and immediately stick your head into the primary side venturi. Actuate the throttle wide open and see if your shooters give a nice steady stream of gas. Trying here to eliminate another variable.
